Full Terms and Conditions

  1. This promotion is open to UK residents only (except where the prize relates to alcohol in which case Scotland and Northern Ireland are excluded) aged 18 and over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter (defined below) unless it applies to an internal colleague promotion, or anyone else associated with the administration of this promotion.
  2. To enter, you must purchase any Argos product online only at Argos.co.uk during the offer dates and complete the required fields in the entry form at https://cloud.emails.argos.co.uk/black-friday-competition-entry-2025 during the same window. Subject to availability. Argos shall not be responsible for any spelling and/or errors made when entering your details into the entry form. You only need to complete the entry form once, all future purchases once the entry form is completed within the dates listed in clause 3 below will be an individual entry.
  3. The promotion opens on 03/11/2025 and closes at 23:59 on 04/12/2025. All online orders if applicable must be delivered by 23:59 on 04/12/2025 to qualify. Delivery charges may apply.
  4. Entries are restricted to one per transaction for the duration of the promotion. No entries from agents, third parties or organised groups will be accepted. No bulk entries.
  5. There are 1,117 prizes to win, eligible applicants have the chance to win one prize per person. Prizes include:

    • Prize 1: 2 prizes of a family holiday for 2 adults and 2 under 16s to Iceland, which includes:

    • Return economy class flights from London to Reykjavík, Iceland
    • Return private airport transfers in Reykjavík
    • 4 nights' luxury hotel accommodation (minimum 4 star), based on 2 adults and 2 children under 16 sharing a family room with Daily breakfast
    • Two-hour Northern Lights viewing cruise with an expert guide

    • Claiming the prize

    • Winners will be contacted via the email address used when completing the entry form and must confirm acceptance of their prize by replying to the email within 3 days of receiving the notification. Argos will attempt to contact the winner twice during this period.
    • If a winner does not respond, Argos reserves the right to conduct a redraw to select an alternative winner.
    • Once a winner has accepted, they must email Element London with their unique code to claim their prize. Element London will liaise with the winners to arrange the trip. The prize is valid for 18 months, allowing winners to organise and redeem it within that period. Winners must contact Element by 19/12/2025 to finalise their prize claim.

    • Prize exclusions and information

    • Economy class flights available from major international airports in London only; Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available; Flight itinerary will be selected by Element London, who is the prize facilitator at their sole discretion; Winner and guests must travel at the same time with the same itinerary; At least one travelers must be aged 18 or over; Children under 18 will require parent or guardian permission prior to travel.
    • A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into the hotel; Accommodation is based on 2 adults and 2 children under 16 sharing a family room; Hotel accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion.
    • All prize elements are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provide's discretion; Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure.
    • All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available; The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of greater or equal value; Prize is valid for 18 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time.
    • The prize cannot be taken from 19th December to 4th January (Christmas and New Year), over public holidays in the UK, or over Easter Sunday; Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled.
    • The prize excludes travel from the winner's home address to the departure airport, meals and drinks (except where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize; Spending money will be provided to the winner by BACS transfer to their nominated account. Winners can travel any time of year. The Northern Lights are best viewed from October to March, so if travel falls outside this period, the prize facilitator will arrange an alternative experience of equal value.
    • All travelers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companion(s) to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companion(s) are aged 70 or over.
    • Any necessary visas or additional insurance are the responsibility of the winner and their guests; If the winner elects not to, or is unable to, use part of the prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the prize package; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd.     • Prize 2: 15 prizes of a theatre and afternoon tea trip for 2 adults, which includes:

    • Travel allowance of £150 (winner only)
    • 1 night's luxury hotel accommodation (minimum 4*) in the winner's chosen location, based on sharing a family room with breakfast
    • Festive afternoon tea in the winner's choice of UK town or city
    • 2 tickets to a performance of the winner's choice in their chosen UK town or city (up to a maximum value of £150 per ticket)

    • Claiming the prize

    • Gift cards must be activated by 12.01.2026. Once activated, it is valid for 24 months. The expiry date is shown on the e-gift card or provided upon activation. Cards cannot be used after expiry or if the activation date is missed.
    • Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative is available. You are responsible for the security and use of your gift card.   6. Where it is a skills-based competition at least one judge shall be independent. The judges' decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. If the prize is not judged, then the winners will be drawn at random during the week following the promotion end date under independent supervision.   7. The Promoter's decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. Winners will be notified by email so therefore entrants will have needed to have supplied valid contact details. Winners will be contacted within 28 days of the closing date. If a winner does not respond when contacted on two separate occasions within three days, the prize will be forfeited and a back-up winner will be chosen and notified by email. The prize will be delivered to the winner or arranged within 28 days of prize acceptance. Proof of identity may be called for before the prize is awarded.
  9. For the purposes of collating entries, picking and notifying the prize winner(s),Argos is the data controller. Argos is responsible for the personal data processing necessary to operate the prize draw (e.g. review of transaction data to collate entrants, application of eligibility requirements, randomly allocating prize winner(s) from entrants and subsequent notification) and shall be the primary contact for data subjects and the Information Commissioner's Office.   10. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any entries that are lost or delayed due to faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion causing delays or disruption; for claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  11. Winners may be requested to participate in any reasonable publicity when asked by the Promoter and shall not receive payment for such publicity. You may opt-out of publicity. By entering this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions governing this promotion and by any other requirements set out in related promotional materials.
  12. The name and county of the prize winner can be obtained by writing to the Promoter at the address below within 3 months of the promotion close date. If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above, you must notify the Promoter within a reasonable period of time before the closing date of the promotion. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.

  14. The Promoter reserves the right to vary the Terms and Conditions or cancel the draw at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
